Protect the Earth together. Цели данного урока: Цель учителя: - организовать деятельность обучающихся по обобщению и систематизации полученных знаний по теме и использованию их в речевом общении. Задачи: Образовательная: - активизировать и совершенствовать практические умения владения лексикой и грамматикой по теме урока (модальные глаголы, времена глагола в активном и пассивном залоге); Развивающая: - развивать самостоятельность обучающихся в мышлении и учебной деятельности; - развивать умения устной речи, аудирования и поискового чтения; Воспитательная: - учить бережно относиться к окружающей среде, - воспитывать чувства ответственности и сопричастности к проблемам экологии, - формировать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в паре и группе.

времена глагола, употребление пассивного залога, актуальность проблемы урока и некоторые пути её решения. Уметь: - использовать в речи лексику и грамматику в рамках темы, - отвечать на вопросы, - читать и работать с текстом, -аудировать, понимать услышанное, - обсуждать проблему урока и находить пути решения, создавать мини-проект в рамках урока. Оборудование урока: · презентация по теме «Земля - наш дом» · компьютер, видеопроектор, экран, - эпиграф к уроку (слайд 1) «The protection of nature means the protection of our Motherland».

Ход урока. I. Организационный этап (2 минуты) 1. Приветствие. Good afternoon, my dear students! Glad to see you again. How are you? Let s begin our lesson with greening and compliments to each other. Turn to your neighbor and pay him/her a compliment. 2. Целеполагание урока. Today we are going to discuss one of the most important problems in our life – the problem of ecology. Your aim is to enrich your knowledge and broaden your outlook on the topic « Environmental protection». What must we know and be able? Обучающиеся самостоятельно формулируют свои цели. Children: seas, parks, mountains, gardens, forests, rivers, trees, animals... T: You see how wonderful our planet is. These nice animals, beautiful fishes, different birds and interesting insects need our help and protection. (слайд 30) The year 2013 is the year of ecology in our country. Why do you think it is so important? Ученики отвечают на вопрос. (The Earth is our home. Our planet is in danger. Many people are ill because air and water are polluted.)

The ozone layer in the upper atmosphere protects the world from the sun’s harmful rays. The chemical used widely in aerosol cans, refrigerators, and other products are destroying this precious layer. The electric power station burn coal to produce the energy that keeps our light on. That burning coal gives off gas that brings the greenhouse effect (парниковый эффект) and acid rains (кислотные дожди). 2. What is the air polluted with? The air is polluted by factories, cars and other transport why are forests disappearing all over the world? Forests are disappearing because people cut down trees for building and making paper. Are rivers polluted? Yes, they are. Rivers and lakes are polluted because people throw away litter. They are polluted with oil and chemical waste. Fishes are hurt.

Yes they are. Many people are ill because they smoke and drink polluted water, breathe dirty air. What are the most serious ecological problems in our region? Our region is reach in oil gas that`s way our rivers and lakes are dirty they are polluted with waste of oil and gas industry there is much litter in the forest many animals and fishes are destroyed. People kill animals for fun and just for sport. (Слайд 38) WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF OUR INFLUENCE ON THE ENVIRONMENT? We pollute the air. – We change the climate. We leave a fire. – We destroyed the forest. We throw away plastic bottles. – We damage nature. We leave litter in the forests. – We hurt animals. We break trees. – We disturb birds. We don’t recycle paper. – We cut down trees to make new paper. We throw litter in the rivers and seas. – We cause water pollution. We leave glass bottles in the forest. – We hurt animals and people (слайд 39)

Do you agree with this statement? Why? Why not? Give your examples. This is teen’s opinion: I agree with this statement “to hurt the Earth is to hurt yourself” because the Earth is our home. Everything is connected. When we pollute air and water we spoil the things we use because we breathe this air and drink this water. If the balance in nature is destroyed we will die too. Who is responsible for the Planet? A lot of people think about the future of the planet. Some people take care of animals, others take care of birds and forests. Helping the nature is an international problem. There are many organizations that help endangered animals and birds fight against sea and ocean pollution Green Peace, Friends of the Earth (the FOE), The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and many others. (слайд 40) 6. Создание мини-проекта «Дерево добрых дел». Before we set to work of our mini- project I want to ask you some questions else: 1. What can you personally do to help the environment nowadays? Tell about one thing you do to help the environment. (-We can clean the territory around our school and in the village. For example, I worked in local working team this summer. We cleaned streets, helped elderly people.)

And now I would like you to make a mini-project « Tree of kind deeds». Students, you will work in 2 groups. One group generates ideas that we should do and the other group that we shouldn’t do to keep our planet clean. Time is limited up to 3-5 minutes. You will write your ideas on the leaves and pin them to the tree. Use these words and word combinations (слайд 41) Protect…! Keep off..! Keep…tidy! Keep… under control! Recycle! Respect…! Put…! We can… We must…/mustn`t We should…/shouldn`t Feed… Don’t use… Turn off… Don’t cut… Try to avoid buying… (для выполнения задания приготовлены листочки, на которых обучающиеся записывают свои идеи, озвучивают их и прикрепляют к «дереву»)

Today we’ve tried to summarize our knowledge on the topic “Environmental problems” and to find out some ways how to save our planet Earth together. I believe you’ll never pollute the environment, the place where you live. Thank you for your creative and active work. Make our tree more beautiful Fasten these flowers on the tree. If you are pleased with your work, take a red flower. If you are not very satisfied, take a white one. When do you think your work would be much better, fasten a bud. It will be certainly open. Your homework is to write an essay about ecology in our region. (слайд 42) Good byе.Our lesson is over.
